"Because the project management was fully in the hands of RL-ID, a huge amount of work was done in a relatively short time. We would never have been able to achieve that ourselves and it gave us the peace to continue to focus on our work and family life.”
INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT
Robbert Lagerweij Interior Design was asked to provide advice and a design for a new kitchen and the living quarters, hallway and attic of a monumental canal house and also to carry this out with his team for the client in Leiden.
An important starting point for Robbert Lagerweij in developing the new design was the client’s request that the “look and feel” of kitchen and living quarters should fit into the characteristic atmosphere of the building.
The kitchen, and living room design has been given a classically timeless and luxurious look. The combination of the black stone countertop and wall-colored fronts/kitchen cabinet doors and drawers with the solid bronze/copper hardware created an exciting combination. The above kitchen cabinets with classic checkered glass doors above the countertop with lighting provide additional storage and highlight the countertop.
