Still, we had seen a lot of great things in terms of projects on his site and were curious to see what Robberts' impression would be of our home and its possibilities. We actually almost bought another house that was completely renovated and styled to our taste, but that house was much smaller than our own/existing house. So we finally decided, partly because of robbert's ideas, that our own house had the potential to become even more beautiful with his help. We were looking for a style and interior advice that would do justice to the characteristics of our home; a monumental building in the center of Leiden with high wooden ceilings and classic elements. When we moved into our current home several years ago, we had the desire to furnish and style our home completely to our liking. Unfortunately, we never really had the time to do that, due to both of our busy full-time jobs and a 3-year-old son. We had a pretty big wish list of refurbishments and ideas for new furniture, a new kitchen, staircase renovation, custom cabinetry in the attic + renovation of the hallway but most of all the associated styling that needed to make our home one. When it turned out that RL-ID not only could take care of the style and interior advice but also of the execution with his team and could take care of custom furniture it was a pretty logical choice for us to put the whole project including project management at RL-ID. Because the project management was completely in the hands of RL-ID a lot of work was done in a relatively short time. We could never have managed that ourselves and it gave us the peace of mind to keep our focus on our busy work and family life. In the end it turned out to be really nice to be able to outsource everything. The work turned out to be much bigger than we could have anticipated and we didn't have the time to spend months doing it ourselves. We are very satisfied with the end result. It does justice to the characteristics of our house and really feels like a whole that fits our wishes. Robbert is an absolute professional who is always ready for his customers. Whether in the evening or on weekends, good news or bad news, Robbert is always there for you. We therefore highly recommend Robbert Lagerweij Interior Design.
