'We could no longer give direction to our interior. Robbert helped us fantastically and inspired us from the first conversation. He has taken our interior to a higher level.'

OEGSTGEEST 2

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT

The classic character of this beautiful, detached 20s house in Oegstgeest together with the classic taste of the residents was an important starting point for RL-ID in the development of a new interior design.

An original 18th century French sandstone fireplace with an antique 17th century Louis XIV mirror above it has become a real eye catcher in this interior.

The new decorative stucco on the ceilings and the stained glass windows refer to the 1920s style.

The fresh green color that Robbert chose brings the house into balance and gives it a fresh and contemporary look.

RL-ID made use of:

FARROW & BALL paint, color Cooking Apple Green. Silk fabrics from JAMES HARE for, among other things, covering bespoke lampshades and pillows. Upholstery fabrics from JANE CHURCHILL and MALABAR. Door and window fittings from DAUBY.

CORNER HOUSE VOORSCHOTEN

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT

A couple with a 1930s corner house in Voorschoten (an old doctor’s practice) found it difficult to set a course for their interior design due to the difference in taste.

RL-ID gladly accepted this challenge and, together with the residents, looked for a combination of the different interior styles.

Robbert and his team went to work passionately with painting and repair work, installing new fittings on windows and doors, mood lighting and searching for new and vintage furniture.

The result is an unsurpassed, exciting mix of modern and sleek with a subtle rural touch.

RL-ID made use of:

FARROW & BALL paint, Elephant’s Breath color, Capri sofa from METROPOLE, furniture and curtain fabrics from DESIGNS OF THE TIME, lighting with custom-made lampshades with different silk fabrics from JAMES HARE and the door and window fittings from DAUBY.
